persistence

the feeling of knowing something that you don’t understand. kind of like following what the soul guides like it’s seeking nourishment of it’s own volition. but – it knows where to go. sometimes it keeps the secret from the brain and heart, but with it’s own flourish it nudges onward. only once it reaches its destination do things come back to perspective. hope that clears that up 😉 here’s: persistence

i’ve known you through time
with absence of reason
pay little mind
as we stride through the seasons

i’d crumble, crawl
persist through the dirt
an earthworm rebirthed
so you’ll flourish and grow
and forever we’ll know
the depths we traversed
were for better or worse
